Bulk Water Usage Rate Change Ordinance
An ordinance establishing a rate increase for bulk water sales only of the Village of Vanlue, Hancock County, Ohio, repealing all ordinances and resolutions in conflict herewith, and declaring an emergency.
BE IT ORDAINED and RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Vanlue,
Hancock County, Ohio, two-thirds (2/3) of all members elected thereto concurring:
SECTION 1: That effective April 1, 2025, the new bulk water sales rate shall be increased to $15.00 per 1,000 gallons of water usage.
SECTION 2: That is Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the needs of the Village of Vanlue, of which Council did declare an emergency and declared this Ordinance effective immediately and further, the Council did waive the three-reading rule and elect to pass by vote of Council this Ordinance after one reading.
WHEREFORE, This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor.
