An Ordinance Authorizing the Disposal of Unneeded or Obsolete Village Assets
An ordinance authorizing the disposal of unneeded or obsolete assets of the Village of Vanlue, Hancock County, Ohio, repealing all ordinances and resolutions in conflict herewith, and declaring an emergency.
BE IT ORDAINED and RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Vanlue, Hancock County, Ohio, two-thirds (2/3) of all members elected thereto concurring:
SECTION 1: That certain assets of the Village of Vanlue are deemed to be obsolete or unneeded, that those assets shall be disposed of by sale by sealed bid.
SECTION 2. Those assets will be offered as is, where is, with no guarantees or warranties. Successful bidders will be required to pay by cash, money order, or certified check for items before their removal. Bidders are responsible for removal of the items within 7 days of purchase.
SECTION 3: That is Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the needs of the Village of Vanlue, of which Council did declare an emergency and declared this Ordinance effective immediately and further, the Council did waive the three-reading rule and elect to pass by vote of Council this Ordinance after one reading.
WHEREFORE, This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor.
