Legal Notice for Asset Sale by Sealed Bids

LEGAL NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the Village of Vanlue, Hancock County, Ohio, will sell by means of Sealed Bids, pursuant to O.R.C. 721.15, personal property which the Village owns and no longer has use for.
The sale will be conducted by means of Sealed Bids to be delivered to the Village of Vanlue Council for the sale of the following items, item #1 - 1998 Long Model 1199B 3-point backhoe attachment, Item # 2 – Alamo Model SH88 Flail Mower, Item #3 – 1953 IH Farmall Model Super A – FAA with an attached Woods Model L306 72” belly mower, Item #4 – four doors - (2) interior wood doors, 3-0 x 6-8 , (2) interior wood sliding doors, 2-6 x 6-8.
The equipment is to be sold as four items – #1. #2. #3. #4. Sealed Bids will be accepted until August 25, 2025 prior to the regularly scheduled council meeting at 7:00 pm. Bids will opened and read aloud.
Bids should be marked with the appropriate “Unit 1, 2, 3, or 4” on the outside of the envelopes and mailed to: Village of Vanlue, c/o Melinda Boyd, 124 Center Street, P.O. Box 77, Vanlue, Ohio 45890.
The Council will require payment of the full purchase price of any successful, accepted offer within Seven (7) days of the date of sale. The Village of Vanlue Council hereby reserves the right to reject any and all bids offered. The Council will entertain no bid less than $1,500 for Item #3 1953 IH Farmall Model Super A – FAA with an attached Woods Model L306 72” belly mower.
The successful bidders will take the property “as is.” Said property is offered without any warranty and in compliance with Ohio Revised Code Section 721.15.
