Pay Rate Ordinance
An ordinance establishing new pay rates for the Village of Vanlue, Hancock County, Ohio, repealing all ordinances and resolutions in conflict herewith, and declaring an emergency.
BE IT ORDAINED and RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Vanlue,
Hancock County, Ohio, two-thirds (2/3) of all members elected thereto concurring:
SECTION 1: That effective September 1, 2025, the position of Water/Sewer Operator shall be paid the sum of Thirteen Hundred Twenty-Five and No/100 Dollars ($1,325.00) per month for a total salary of Fifteen Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($15,900) annually.
SECTION 2: That effective January 1, 2026, the position of Water/Sewer Operator shall be paid the sum of Thirteen Hundred Seventy-Five and No/100 Dollars ($1,375.00) per month for a total salary of Fifteen Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($16,500) annually.
SECTION 3: That effective September 1, 2025, the pay rate for all hourly employees shall be at the rate of Seventeen and 50/100 Dollars ($17.50) per hour worked .
SECTION 4: That effective January 1, 2026, the pay rate for all hourly employees shall be at the rate of Twenty and 00/100 Dollars ($20.00) per hour worked .
SECTION 5: That is Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the needs of the Village of Vanlue, of which Council did declare an emergency and declared this Ordinance effective immediately and further, the Council did waive the three-reading rule and elect to pass by vote of Council this Ordinance after one reading.
WHEREFORE, This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor.
